Labosem performs routine quality checks on seed batches purchased by its clients. These tests can include :
- Purity tests and determination of other seed by number tests to check that seed cleaning has been carried out correctly.
- Germination tests to ensure that the seed quality matches the information at the time of the purchase
- Thousand seed weight tests

In the event that these tests give rise to the detection of a problem with the seed batch, the lab’s seed cleaning facility can reprocess the seed batch either to eliminate residual impurities or to try and improove the germination rate of the batch.
